The idea
There is a growing demand for extended stays in major cities. Whether it’s for work, a project, or simply for pleasure — more people are spending several months abroad. Yet finding the right place often means accepting a clear trade-off.
Hotels offer comfort and service, but rarely the space or privacy you want for an extended stay. Furnished apartments give you the feeling of having your own place, but often leave you to take care of everything else yourself.
SQO Residences was created to bring the best of both together: the space and privacy of a real home, with the comfort and personal service of a great hotel.
Our approach
It starts with the residence itself. We focus on real homes in some of Amsterdam’s most desirable neighborhoods — places with character, generous living space and a sense of privacy. Each residence is carefully selected and prepared to provide everything needed to settle in comfortably from day one.
But settling in involves more than finding the right place to live. Even for a few months, you want the comforts and conveniences you are used to at home — without having to arrange them all from scratch in a new city. Our role is to take care of those details, so you can feel settled from the moment you arrive.
